The exterior surfaces are smooth and continuous, with no visible breaks or mechanical joints. The optical system is invisible because it is located on the underside. The product melts into the background and takes on the same finish as the surface on which it is installed. A special treatment has been applied to the exterior surfaces to make them suitable for painting without affecting their corrosion resistance.

The total dark light system offers high visual comfort. The sources are completely shielded and none of the visible surfaces on the products are illuminated. The high level of optical control prevents shadow areas and can also light the horizontal surface adjacent to the wall on which it is fastened. Locating the optical system on the underside prevents unwanted upward emissions. The light distribution is wide and even over the whole illuminated area.

The small depth of all Sans Serif versions means there is no need to recess the floor-washer into the wall. It is therefore installed directly on the wall surface. The outer cover is independent from the sealing system to avoid the risk of infiltration when installed on uneven surfaces. The cover is fastened to the body by means of a grub screw, which also acts as an anti-vandalism feature.
