Project Brief
Commercial Lighting was delighted at the opportunity to design a bespoke chandelier for a large residential property, combining the latest LED technology with custom-made handblown glass. A completely bespoke luminaire was desired, to provide a dramatic feature in the double height entranceway.
Solution
Working with lighting and glass specialists John Moncrieff Ltd, twenty-five beautiful teardrop glass shades were handblown and arranged in spiral formation, each incoporating their own LED modules, giving a modern and elegant take on the ‘chandelier’ tradition. With each module only using 1W of power, this striking pendant has a total system power of just 30W, making it incredibly energy efficient as well as a stunning bespoke design..
