Commercial Lighting was approached for a lighting system for St Mary’s Church in Bornais, on the island of South Uist in Scotland. After discussion, it was agreed the most appropriate solution would be to convert their original ornate iron fixtures to LED. After a few designs were sketched, the chosen system was carefully developed and produced in our factory, fitted into the newly restored fixtures, and installed in their original positions in the church.

The result is a beautifully bespoke lighting solution, authentic to this characterful 19th Century church.
