We were approached directly by St John’s in Hedge End to provide a comprehensive lighting solution for the church, thanks to our recognition and extensive experience in church lighting over the years. After initial discussions and proposed lighting schemes, we agreed on a solution utilising Sovereign SLM and Sovereign Minimal Projectors (track and surface mounted) for the primary illumination. For feature lighting, we designed a concealed RGBW solution from our Sovereign Linear range, emphasising the triple window reveals, complete with a custom cowl for a carefully directed beam.

For lighting control, the scheme uses a bluetooth lighting system, allowing for easy alterations of dimming and colour control, as well as removing the need for additional wiring.

So far, we have completed the altar, choir and front part of the nave, with the rest of the church to follow in 2020.
